Henry Sibley High School opened in 1952.

Henry Sibley changed their helmet color on there helmet from a golden yellow to a vegas gold for the 2006 season. The changes reflect a new identity for the school.

In 2021 Henry Sibley changed their name to Two Rivers High School. The name was inspired by the school’s proximity to the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers. The school’s original name was a tribute to Minnesota’s first governor, whom community members said shouldn’t be honored due to his treatment of the Dakota people in the 19th century.
